advocacy

In partnership with the National Commission for Human Rights, HAGURUKA organized its annual advocacy session focused on children’s rights, with particular attention to children with disabilities.

Key resolutions focused on combating child labour and strengthening the implementation and monitoring of child protection legislation. The discussions also emphasized support for children born to teenage mothers and advocacy for specialized GBV courts for children.

The initiative contributed to strengthening child protection efforts through policy advocacy, stakeholder collaboration, and promotion of effective protection mechanisms.
